Happy Friday! Yep, it's time for another fun Totally Papercrafts challenge and this one's an easy one for most of us: Easter. There are so many cute Easter images! Even if you don't have an Easter image per se, you probably have a bunny or suitably Easter-ish spring stamp somewhere in your collection. I love spring so I have lots of Easter stamps and digistamps to pick from. For today's card, I'm using another cute new Easter image from DigiStamp Boutique.
Isn't this fun Easter paper? It's from the Paper Studio and I bought it at Hobby Lobby last week. The patterns are rather bright and busy so I kept my embellishments to a minimum. I just love these fat, fluffy chicks! They are so happy. :) I am also entering this card in this week's Cute Card Thursday Easter challenge.
Head on over to the Totally Papercrafts site to check out this week's challenge as well as the other DT members' cards. "Hoppy" Friday! :)

Come On, Get Hoppy!
Hey there! It's been pretty quiet around here lately, I know. :sigh: Life had been really busy and stressful for a while, and I realized I had been feeling a little blue. Even when I had time, I just didn't feel inspired. At all. Things are better now, however, and I've had the itch to create something with the wonderful new Easter images from DigiStamp Boutique. I bought this fun paper from Hobby Lobby and it totally inspired me! I liked the idea of using plaid for a boy image. I thought the bright colors in the plaid paper were springy enough for Easter, despite not being your typical pastel Easter colors. This cute little guy is Dan and you can find him in the shop here: Dan.
Don't forget - tomorrow is time for another Totally Papercrafts challenge. If you like Easter images, you may just want to check it out. {Hint! Hint!}

DigiStamp Daisy
Yay! Spring break is finally here- time to get find time to play in my stamp room. :) Here's a quick little card that I made with one of the February DigiStamp Boutique releases, Daisy. I thought this heart patterned paper mimicked the heart she has in her hand.
Isn't she sweet? And speaking of sweetness... f you haven't visited the DigiStamp Boutique site lately, check out this month's releases. Sally-Ann has some adorable Easter releases! I'll be back later this week with some Easter projects.

Totally Papercrafts - Humor
Quick post today, stampers! This week's challenge over at Totally Papercrafts is "humor". So, break out those funny stamps and play along with us! Our sponsor this week is Whimsy Stamps.
Lisa
I bought this set of humorous birthday stamps years ago and never used them. I don't have a lot of "funny" stamps so it was a good time to break these out and ink them up!
Check out the Totally Papercrafts blog to see what my teamies have been up to this week!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge
Happy Friday! My blog is "going green" this weekend to celebrate St. Patty's Day. I had to go pretty far back to find him, but my great-great-great-great-grandfather Matthew McVey was a baker from somewhere in Ireland. (I should've known those freckles and reddish tint to my hair came from somewhere!) If you celebrate - Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too! :)
We've got a new challenge up on the Totally Papercrafts blog today - make a card or project with a "male" theme. We're sponsored by Meljen's Designs this week, so I decided to use this cute little guy. I think this would make a fun birthday card for a little boy:

My Favorite Things
One of my favorite things is Friday, which coincidentally is the day the Totally Papercrafts team announces a new weekly challenge. I got to pick this week's theme so I've chosen the theme of "My Favorite Things".
Our sponsor this week is the oh so cute Lili of the Valley and my favorite things include dogs, especially my yellow Lab Dixie, so I decided to use this adorable Swing Time LOTV stamp:

I used lots of pink on my card because it's my favorite color. No card can ever be too pink for me! :)
Head on over to the

Happy Friday!!!!!

A Song in Your Heart
TGIF! I am so glad that Friday is finally here!
Since it is Friday (yay!) it's also time for a new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts. This week's challenge is brought to us by DT member Mel, and the theme is Song and Dance. I had to wrack my brains a bit to find a stamp that fit this theme, and decided to use this little Kewpie:
Our local high school (where I work and where my oldest daughter goes to school) has a Kewpie as a mascot and our school colors are purple and gold - hence the color scheme.
Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Simon Says Stamp. Play along with this week's Song and Dance challenge for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the Simon Says Stamp store - after checking out the other DT members' fabulous cards first, of course! :)
