Fab Friday Returns!

As I mentioned earlier this week, I'm revamping my posting schedule with the new year. One of the changes I'm making is the return of "Fab Friday". What's Fab Friday? Well.... it may be a freebie I've found, it maybe a link to an amazing tutorial or whatever else I think is Fab that week. ;-)

This week's Fab Friday is about organizing your crafting supplies. There's something about a new year that just lends itself to a major reorganization & cleaning. That's certainly what I've been doing since the start of the new year.

Today I ran across this invitation to a craft room blog hop: Bella's Link Party/Blog Hop. Check out the blogs that are linked at the bottom of the post. There are some great tips out there! My favorite one was Karen's Sew Many Ways craft room makeover. Not only because it looks FABULOUS (don't you wish you had that much space?) but because it has a lot of great, low cost tips.

I subscribe to BHG's Scrapbooks Etc. newsletters and the most recent one featured lots of articles/links on organizing your craft supplies. I have to say that I don't normally find their tips all that useful, but I found some good ideas here: Low-Cost Scrapbook Storage Solutions and Mini Storage Solutions. (I still hate that you have to page through the tips one at a time.)

My plan for this weekend is to finish my room so that I can join in Bella's craft room blog hop. I can't wait to be done so I can sit back and enjoy crafting in my room. :)

Fall Free for All

It's Free for All day over on the PaperWorks Co blog today. I will be providing all of the Free for All projects this month. Yay! It's one of my favorite assignments. :)

For my FFA Tuesday card, I just couldn't resist using more of the September kit paper from Echo Park as well as another new Rachelle Anne Miller Stamp! For my card layout, I used a sketch from the Lord Have Mercy! blog (sketch #86).

Fall is finally in the air here. I was a vendor at a fall craft festival this past weekend and there is a local pumpkin fest coming up this weekend. I love all of the Fall fun! This little girl and her squirrel friend look like they're having their share of Fall fun, too!

Stamps: The Perfect Patch (exclusive RAM for PWCO)
Paper: Playground from the A Walk in the Park Collection (Echo Park), Prismatics Herbal Garden Medium cs,  Smitten Stripes from the Be Loved Collection (My Mind's Eye), kraft base card, self-adhesive rhinestones, Copics.

Rockin' Robins

Have you checked out the August releases yet at DigiStamp Boutique? I just love the Rocky Robin images in particular!

A few weeks ago, I received an email from Archivers advertising the new DCWV 3" square envelopes. I loved the cute sample cards they created to fit the envelopes! On our recent shopping trip to St. Louis I was sure to stop by Archivers and pick up some of these envelopes. I used this adorable image of Rocky and family singing on my first attempt at a 3" card:

The image has so much detail that I didn't add a lot of extras to the card - just some Stickles to give the snow a little bling and some white Fun Flock on the hats for extra dimension. I can't wait to play around and make some more of these adorable little cards!
