Sweet!

There's so many sweet things about my card today... It's sweet that I had time to make a card this weekend. (I've actually posted two cards this week - yahoo!) There's plenty of pink in my card. (A sweet color!) And this little Sugar Nellie stamp is sweet, too! (She's Sent with Love from Funky Kits.)

Snow Day, part 2

I took advantage of yet another snow day to make some more cards. This first card is for the current sketch challenge on the Sugar Bowl blog:


We also had to include lace and use Sugar Nellie images.

The second card is for Mo Manning's Digital Pencil 2 challenge blog. This week's challenge is "wood/would". I don't own any Digital Pencil images that I could incorporate into the wood theme, so I chose a "would you be mine" theme to celebrate Valentines' Day.

I just love this Keisha image! The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. I just love BG papers!

More Christmas Crafting

These are another popular craft show item. I use reclaimed thin cardboard for my covers (from paper packs, etc.) so they are fairly inexpensive to make. I really have a lot of fun making these. (Well, maybe not so much fun punching all the paper for the insides pages...)

Here are some holiday ones:

At one point, I was apparently madly in love with this paper and must've bought every sheet HL or Michaels had. I have quite a thick stack of it, so most of my Christmas notepads will have this paper. Good thing it works with a variety of images! The snowman on the left is a retired SU! set and the bird is from a current TAC Christmas set.

And here are some "everyday" notepads:


The little girl with the bird is "Fly Free" is a Leanne Ellis image from Funkykits. It's just too cute and is one of my favorite stamps. The girl on the right is an Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm that my friend, Diana, let me borrow a while ago.

Another Sweet Card

There was a fun sketch challenge this week over on the Sugar Bowl challenge blog. Here's my interpretation of the sketch:


We also had to use kraft somewhere in our card, so I used some TAC Kraft cardstock - my favorite kraft cardstock. And, of course, we had to use a Sugar Nellies stamp so I used my sweet Gorjuss Girl - "With Love" - stamp.

I finally made a card with one of the Sugar Nellies stamps that I bought from Funky Kits a while ago. The card is based on the sketch in this week's challenge over at The Sugar Bowl challenge blog.
