TSG

This week's challenge at There She Goes stamps couldn't be more perfect! This week's challenge was to make a card or other papercraft project based on this fun inspiration photo:

My 18 year old issued a challenge of her own. She needed a Valentine card for her boyfriend using the TSG set, Puppy Love (my fave!). And, oh by the way, would it be possible to drop the card off to her at college tomorrow? Along with the 6 candy boxes I was already working on? Um yeah, sure, kiddo. Nothing like a little pressure to kick you into creative mode!

The inspiration photo was perfect for a masculine card - the grey and metal elements were easy to incorporate into my card and gave it a "guy card" feel.

Something Sketchy's Goin' On...

I've been having so much fun playing with my new goodies and participating in challenges. :)  I made this card today using some Baby Steps dp from Simple Stories and some twill ribbon that I bought a while ago from Ribbon Carousel.

Since I'm entering my card into There She Goes' Ribbon Time challenge, I chose to use this cute little pup from TSG's Puppy Love set. (I love, love, love that stamp set!)

The layout for my card is actually a blend of two sketches. This one from Jen del Muro's I [heart] 2stamp (where, coincidentally, TSG is the monthly sponsor):

And this one from Sketch Saturday:

I'm also entering my card in Dutch Dare Card Challenges' Buttons and Bows challenge. (There's a little heart button in the top right corner of my card, although it's a little hard to see in the photo.)

Guess what? I've spent so much time crafting this weekend that I actually have another card that I'm posting tomorrow afternoon! See you then!

A Sweet TSG Card

This week's challenge on the There She Goes blog was "Love is in the Air", so TSG's "Puppy Love" stamp set was the perfect choice! (Of course, I think "Puppy Love" is just about the perfect choice for everything because I love dogs and I love Torico's designs!)

And, speaking of Puppy Love, here's my "puppy love", Dixie. Isn't she the cutest dog in the world? My kids will warn you that you may as well shake your head and say "Why, yes, she IS the cutest dog in the world." because I would refuse to admit otherwise. ;-) She's my baby!

From Dixie and me - Have a wonderful week! See you soon.

Dog-gone Cute

I have two doggie themed cards to share with you today, both based on sketches from the 365Cards challenge blog. They had some great sketches this past week!

First up is this card featuring this cute little girl & her dog from There She Goes stamps. I loved TSG's Color Challenge this week - pink, kraft and ivory! I used some ivory thread for the ivory part of my card. This is the first time sewing on a card. I'm not known for my sewing skills with fabric (nevermind paper), so this was a pretty good first attempt for me. ;-)  For my layout, I used Wednesday's sketch from the 365cards blog.

Next up is my weekly DigiStamp Boutique card. This is another adorable Barney image from the February release. This layout is based on Tuesday's sketch over at 365cards and the color scheme was inspired by the pink, brown and white color challenge on the iCopic blog.

I'm also submitting this card to the Birthday challenge over at the Outlawz Challenge site. I discovered the Outlawz while blog hopping last weekend. It's a fun group and they have some great challenges going on with some AWESOME prizes (including Copics!). Check 'em out!

Have a great week!

More Mini Valentines

Here's another mini-Valentine designed to fit the mini envelopes from Archivers.

Isn't that little doggie so cute? He's part of the Puppy Love set from There She Goes (TSG) stamps.

Brr! The weather is turning colder by the minute. It will be a good weekend to stay in and stamp! Come back on Sunday to see some more projects using this month's DSB special offer, Pippa and Sonny.
