Happy Valentines Day!
First up is the card I made for my daughter. (She has a pet rat. There aren't too many Valentines rat images out there, so I went with this cute Valentine Mouse instead.)
Louie is my favorite bear and one of my favorite DSB images, so of course I had to make one more card using the Louie Love set. (The circle sentiment is from the Simply Valentine Greetings set.) All images are from the DigiStamp Boutique.
I'm entering these in the "Love" challenge over at Paper Crafting Journey as well as the "Anything Goes" challenge at Charisma Cardz.
Hope you had a SWEET day!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday
And here is my card:
Isn't this little kitty just too adorable? She's Offer of the Month - Valentine Olivia. The sentiment is from another Offer of the Month - Simply Valentines Greetings. I love having sentiments all ready to just print off and add to my card!
If you hurry, it's not too late to play along with this week's Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge. The challenge closes at 7 PM (MST) tonight (Tuesday). You could win your choice of 6 digi images from the DigiStamp Boutique store!

Fab Friday
I wanted to try this out first. It was a really easy project to put together, in part because of the great tutorial. I love step-by-step photos! (My apologies for the photo - my project doesn't show up very well against my work surface. Once my craft room renovations are complete, I hope to move my "photo studio" to another area of my craft room.)
(The sentiment is from a TAC set (Mice Day-T3301). The cardstock and dp were from my stash.)
If you're in the mid-MO area and would like some hands on help making this project, I'll be hosting a Valentines workshop on Sunday, January 29th. We'll be making one of these mini-mailboxes, as well as a candy bar wrapper and the Mice Day Valentines Day card recently featured on my blog. If you're interested in attending, please email me (lisajtmo@yahoo.com) no later than Thursday January 27th.

Aww!! :)
Although this isn't a Valentines set I thought this happy couple, along with the sentiment, made a fitting Valentines card. You can see some other sweet projects featuring other stamps from this set on Mischelle's TAC Savvy Projects blog:

Sweethearts
Despite the snow outside, I am SO done with winter & Christmas. If we get a snow day tomorrow, I'm looking forward to finishing up my craft room reorganization and spending some time working on Valentines Day projects. Spring, here I come! (Even if Mother Nature is not cooperating!)

More Mini Valentines
Isn't that little doggie so cute? He's part of the Puppy Love set from There She Goes (TSG) stamps.
Brr! The weather is turning colder by the minute. It will be a good weekend to stay in and stamp! Come back on Sunday to see some more projects using this month's DSB special offer, Pippa and Sonny.

I Love Coco
I really liked this sketch and had fun using lots of my favorite things - lots of pink, my very favorite heart paper from Basic Grey's Bittersweet collection, Kraft cardstock from The Angel Company, and my favorite recent release from Digistamp Boutique, Coco.
Isn't Coco just the sweetest?! I made a Valentines Day card with this image, but you could use it for a birthday, thinking of you or "missing you" card.
I have to thank my friend Lisa who gave me this red satin ribbon. It's the perfect shade of red, the perfect width and was so easy to work with!
You know what to do next! :) Check out the terrific cards from the rest of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team & play along with us! You might just win some of Sally-Ann's adorable digital stamps. :) She's giving away $10 in digital stamps of your choice!

Happy Mouse Day!

My friend Diana stamped this image for me, so I'm not sure which House Mouse stamp this is. I used my Copic markers to color them in and applied some Icicle Stickles to make the hearts glittery. My favorite thing about this card is that I used some things that had been sort of just waiting (and waiting) to be used. The heart shaped rhinestones were something I purchased at Hobby Lobby before Valentines Day. The glittery paper I used for my circle was something I'd "reclaimed" from a Christmas card several years ago. It was just waiting for the right project!

Quick Valentine gift bag

Supplies: Kraft bag and printed paper from Target, stamp from Greeting Farm stamps, Copic markers, Fiskars border punch, sheer ribbon from Bags and Bows, and paper scraps from my stash.
You may have noticed something new on the right side of my blog. I've heard Playlists on other people's blogs and decided to add one to mine. I have mine set up so that it does NOT automatically play. (I hate when you're blog hopping and some music automatically starts playing.) So, if you want to hear music while you check out my blog, just click on the Play arrow. There's a little something for everyone - everything from "MySpace Girl" pop to Bruce Springsteen's mournful "The River" to Queen's hardrocking "Tie Your Mother Down".

Pocket Full of Love
Here's the inside card:
This is the back side of the card:
Here's a closeup of the Angel. I used glitter to embellish her dress. I applied it with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen. It's the best glue pen I've ever used. Applies glue in very finely and the tip never clogs up. I love it!
This is a "template" for the pocket I designed from a half sheet of 8.5 X 11 paper. It's scored at 4" and 8" and along the side at 1/2". The glue is applied on the skinny "tabs" along the right and bottom sides.

After it was assembled, I used a circle punch to cut out the half circle at the top of the pocket. This makes it easier to pull out the card inside.
Supplies: Matchmaker Pink #3 cardstock, TAC Scarlet cardstock, TAC Premium White Cardstock, Prismacolor pencils, ultrafine glitter, CM circle punch, small heart punch. Palette ink in Noir, Moulin Rouge and Belle Rose. Stamps from TAC: Floral Favorites, Love & Laughter, Just Dream and Swirly Gigs.

Happy Valentines Day!
So I needed a quick little Valentine gift and this is what I made:
If you spend much time checking out stampers' blogs or shopping online, you probably know that little silver candy tins with clear lids (sometimes called "nugget tins") are very hot right now. Luckily, I had bought a package of the tins that debuted in the new Angel Company catalog. I gathered up some supplies and some M&Ms and put this little gift together in no time flat.
TAC supplies: square tin, tag punch (I *love* that punch!), heart stamp from Mini-Sampler, Moulin Rouge and Noir Palette inks, Prismacolor pencils. Other: Valentines paper from Target, ribbon from Hobby Lobby and greeting stamp by Hero Arts. (Yeah, I know it's not an Angel Company stamp, but it's so darn cute.;-) )
I used redline (super tacky) tape to adhere the bottom strip of paper (15/16" wide) to the bottom of the tin. I used my beloved 3M Tacky glue to adhere the thin (3/16") inch wide strip around the lid. I would say both worked well. I used M&Ms in my tin, but you could fill it with paper clips, mints, coins or whatever else suits your fancy (and your recipient).
Here are two other views of the tin:
Happy Valentines' Day!
