For the second week in a row, we've been hit by a winter storm. Between holidays and snow days, I've lost track of what day it is. I realized when I woke up this morning that I never posted Wednesday with Wings card yesterday. Oops!!
I'd love to say I spent the day in my craft room today having fun, but I didn't. However, I finally put all of my Christmas decorations away (YAY!!) and did some more sorting/purging in my craft room -- and I did finally manage to make a card this afternoon (double YAY!!).
Today's card is a two-fer. I recently discovered the 365 Cards blog. It's awesome - there is a new challenge each and every day, so there's sure to be one you like. I knew as soon as I saw Wednesday's
Bliss challenge that I wanted to make a card with this image TAC's Good Dog set. And, while bloghopping this afternoon I stumbled across
Mischelle Smith's card for Heather Scott's
Sketch Challenge #135. It's been a long time since I played along with one of Heather's sketches, so I decided to try this one out and combine it with the 365 Bliss challenge. Fun!
Supplies: Good Dog-T3296, Kraft and Ivory cardstocks (TAC), Lilly Anna SWIC and coordinating cs (TAC), Palette Noir ink (TAC), Petunia Pink Versamark Ink, distressing tool, brown and pink ribbon, pink rhinestones, Copic markers.
Copics used: Collar: R83, R85, R59; Dog: Y21, YR20, E35, E31 and R83 (inside ears); Shadow/ground: W1, W3.
Now, that's one blissed out dog! :) She reminds of me my dog, Dixie, when she lays on her back and gets her belly rubbed. (I tried to color the dog image to look like Dixie, who is a yellow lab.)
