The countdown to Christmas is in full swing, so it has been so hard to find time to post! I have been stamping/creating, though. I made a few gifts for my daughter Jessica to give her friends (several candy bar wrappers and I stamped the plain white mat in a photo frame to make it pretty. My most ambitious undertaking was compiling some favorite Christmas recipes into little cook/scrapbooks for my mother and MIL. I used this adorable image from Mo Manning of Digital Pencil Too. It's called Louis and Bronte and it was just so appropriate for a recipe book of Christmas cookies! I don't know if Mo has this one in the shop or not, but I got it as a freebie for being a member of the Digital Pencil Too group on Paper Craft Planet.
I made one brunette and one blonde Louis:
(I used Paint Shop Pro to temporarily remove the frog on Louis' shorts. I then cut & pasted the image into a Word document without saving the changes to Mo's original artwork.)
After laminating all of the pages, I used my Bind It All to make 2 6X6 recipe books. I'll try to get a photo of one of the finished products. (The one for my mom is wrapped & ready to ship off to NJ tomorrow.)
