Operation Write Home

This is the second post of the day. If you're looking for my Totally Papercrafts post, please scroll down. Thanks! Yeah, Fridays can be busy days around here. :)

Like a lot of cardmakers, I have more cards than I can use so I like to donate cards to worthwhile organizations. I recently discovered a group called Operation Write Home and planned to donate some cards.  It was perfect when Resale Clipart sponsored the Sister Act Card Challenge this week and offered the DT this image to use:

Supplies: Army Boy Black (Resale Clipart), stripe dp (Bo Bunny), star die (Memory Box),
sentiment (Paper Studio), kraft/red/blue cs from stash.

I will say that it was a very odd experience for me to make a card that didn't require any coloring (or even stamping for that matter!). It was kind of nice to be able to put a card together so quickly, though.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Charisma Cards - Flag Colors (U.S.A.)
Songbird Challenges - Stars

Head on over to the Sister Act Card Challenge (SACC) to see what the rest of the DT is up to. Play along with our always anything goes challenge for your chance to win a prize from our sponsor, Resale Clipart!

It is a little odd not having to colour isn't it! I like how quick the card comes together though, and it gets you a quick card when you're in a time pinch :)

Adorbs!!! I agree that printing out a colored image is a bit strange, but like Sarah mentioned, SO awesome that it cuts down the time you make the card!! Your turned out lovely, Lisa!!! (:

Great card, Lisa! I love the patriotic paper you chose! I 2nd & 3rd the above comments, but can definitely see where clip art is great when you are in a time crunch!
Happy Friday!

I love the patriotic feel of this card. The stars and the paper are wonderful. I'm with all of the rest of the Team about the clip art. It kind of felt like cheating!

Hi Lisa - thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! You asked me about the cute scooter and car paper that I used on my card. It's from My Little Shoebox :)

Like the Stars and Stripes (even though I'm Canadian). So cute.
