I have rarely been posting beyond my weekly challenge card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The past few weeks I've been working whenever possible on craft projects. Last weekend we did the big Hatton craft show, where we were invited to participate in a local craftshow in December. I don't want to have to do a marathon of last minute projects like I did for Hatton, so I've been working on projects pretty steadily this past week.
Here are a few samples of the "Candy Bar Sliders" that I made. (K. Werner has an awesome tutorial her blog.) These are always popular at craft shows, especially around the holidays. They make great stocking stuffers or Secret Santa gifts.
For my images, I used a Gingersnap digital image, a Santa from a retired TAC set, and a caroling Milly from DigiStamp Boutique. I bought this striped paper a few Christmases ago at Hobby Lobby. It's cardstock and is just the perfect weight for making the sliders.
Come back Monday night for a peek at another Christmas project.

Really like this idea!
Where is the next local craft show going to be? I missed Hatton :(((
These are o-so-cute!
I love those! We made something similar at our scrapbooking/stamping class last Thursday. It was a slider for a packet of hot cocoa or cider, etc. I'll have to take a picture and post it on my blog.
These are soooo cute! Great gifts!
What a cute idea these sliders are and how smart of you to be working ahead and not getting all stressed before your next craft show!!
