Birthday Girl

My oldest daughter turned 19 this Saturday (wow - how did THAT happen?!). There was plenty of celebrating - a bbq party with friends on Friday, dinner out with family and the boyfriend on Saturday, and a Fathers' Day/birthday celebration (Jessica's and my father-in-law's) with family on Sunday.

I hadn't decided on a stamp for Jessica's birthday card yet when I saw a sneak peak on Facebook for a new Birdie Brown image. The image came out Saturday morning - just in time to make Jessica's card! The layout is from the old Card Patterns sketch challenge blog and the papers are from my scrap stash. I love this Birthday Bear so much and had a blast making my card!

(And, yes, it's the same sketch that I used for my Designed to Color summer challenge card below.)

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Lil Red Wagon - 3 or more patterned papers (the patterns are subtle, but the aqua and pink papers in my card are patterned, as is the dp with the birthday words)
Creative Stamp Friends - Birthday

It's a quick post from me tonight. I'll be back throughout the week (Wednesday - DigiStamp Boutique, Friday - Sister Act Card Challenge). Hope to see you then!

I'm Back!

Another snow day, another birthday card. :) For this one, I used Party Dog from the Birdie Brown Etsy shop. This is one of the first digis I bought from Torico and it's still one of my favorites. It's a fun image and I love coloring it in!

Supplies: Party Dog (Birdie Brown), Lime Twist 6X6 paper pad (MME),

brads (Paper Studio), Copics, sentiment (Paper Studio).

I'm entering this party animal into the following challenges:
Inky Chicks - Birthday or Mothers Day
Card Makin Mamas - Its Birthday Time!
One Stop Craft Challenge - For the kids

Thanks for stopping by!

Cutie Pie Challenge

I love making cards, I love sketch challenges and I love Birdie Brown digital Stamps, so I simply HAD to participate in the current sketch challenge over at The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog!

It was the perfect sketch for this Birdie Brown image, Party Dog.

He is just so much fun to color! That cute, smiley face surrounded by all of those bright colors has to bring a smile on your face! :)

I'm also entering my card into the following challenges:
Cards Galore - Anything Goes
Milk Coffee Challenge - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Beat the Blues
Ooh-la-la Creations - Happy Birthday
Wags 'n Whiskers - Celebration
Inky Chicks - Anything Goes (2nd entry)

Have a great rest of the week!
